Located in the northern most point of Morgantown, Monongalia County and the state of West Virginia, the area around the 13 mile long Cheat Lake, is referred to as the Cheat Lake community. With breathtaking views of water and mountains, this area of Morgantown welcomes you home.


Evansdale and Suncrest-these residential areas are highly sought by home seekers as they are located within easy walking and/or commuting distance of our area's major employers. These employers include WVU Hospitals, Monongalia General Hospital, Mylan Pharmaceuticals (both Manufacturing and Research & Development), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and U.S. Department of Energy. In addition, shopping in all its forms is readily available at Suncrest Town Center and University Town Center as well as business, service and professional services such as pharmacies, restaurants, medical offices, etc. being available in various Suncrest locations.


Enjoy the luxuries of historic charms in the downtown Morgantown communities. Each neighborhood and street boasts its own uniqueness, Travel the brick streets, notice the historical register addresses, and find your HOME "across the bridge" in beautiful downtown communities.


Southern Suburbs-in this area south of the City of Morgantown, you'll find residential subdivisions that feature both tract house lots as well as lots with acreage. For those who prefer a more "suburban" environment or who are interested in efficient access to employment in the Fairmont and Clarksburg/Bridgeport areas (WV High Tech Consortium and Federal Bureau of Investigation) as well as an efficient commute to Morgantown, the southern suburbs offer a wide variety of housing opportunities.
